Approved $25,000/yr x 3 years June 2024 general operating support for Horizons at GSFS six-week summer enrichment program.

Approved $20,000/yr x 3 years January 2024 general operating support to advance the reading skills of Philadelphia’s public school students in grades K-3 providing daily, in-person instruction to students struggling to read at grade level in under-resourced schools and neighborhoods.

Approved $25,000/yr x 3 years June 2024 to support entrepreneurship by equipping Black and Brown women with the tools, resources, opportunities and capital necessary to overcome obstacles and achieve social and economic success.

Approved $12,000/yr x 3 years June 2024 to support free youth bike education and empowerment programs.

Approved $25,000/yr x 3 years January 2024 to support general operating costs associated with ensuring Reading Allowed continues to grow in order to support more struggling readers while maintaining the high quality of its instruction that sets it apart from other literacy non-profit organizations in Philadelphia.

Approved $25,000/yr x 3 years June 2024 general operating support to help maintain critical access to books and literacy enrichment activities provided to children in under-resourced schools in under-served neighborhoods.
