KCAP empowers Karen refugees by preserving Karen cultural heritage and traditional food practices, creating access to essential services and strengthening community wellbeing. KCAP was formed by Karen community leaders to address the unique needs of refugees from language barriers, technology inaccessibility, food insecurity, loss of culture, social isolation, and healing from trauma.
