Approved $100,000 one-time general operating support emergency grant in 2020 to support services to those affected by drug use and poverty including outreach, housing, meals, healthcare, treatment, case management, and other supportive services.

Approved $25,000 x 1 year January 2020 to support Tax Time Benefits program, which connects Philadelphia tax clients with public benefits such as SNAP, Medicaid or LIHEAP as part of their tax filing experience.

Approved $40,000 in 2020 to support Philadelphia Parks & Recreation summer Playstreets' program.

Approved $25,000/yr x 3 years January 2020 general operating support for after school, weekend, family and summer programming. Funds will help to strengthen the education, creative arts, media, technology, health, fitness, language, literacy, and cultural activities.

Approved $25,000/yr x 3 years January 2020 to support Open Door Clubhouse's Transitional Employment Program that provides temporary job opportunities for individuals recovering from mental illness, to help improve their quality of life.

Approved $15,000 in 2020 to support cell phones for Tenant Services Coordination program supporting people with behavioral health challenges living in the community.

Approved $20,000/yr x 3 years January 2020 to support Family Benefits program that provides benefit enrollment for health insurance and food security to economically disadvantaged individuals throughout the Chester and Montgomery Counties.

Approved $25,000/yr x 3 years January 2020 general operating support to help expand Food Rescue Program, and increase the capacity to store and deliver food to thousands of low-income individuals

Approved $10,000 in 2020 to assist laid off individuals and their families with collecting unemployment benefits, SNAP, ACA, utility assistance, and job placement.

Approved $10,000 in 2020 to support Mobile Market providing fresh produce, hot meals, PPE, books, diapers, voter registration, social service navigation, and other key resources throughout the community.

Approved $30,000 in 2020 to support comprehensive counseling and mediation activities to prevent the eviction of struggling renters as well as emergency grants offsetting the cost of daily living.

Approved $25,000/yr x 3 years June 2020 to support Tenant Services Program which provides case management for very low-income families renting from WCRP such as crisis intervention, job readiness support, linkage to outside services, and advocacy to resolve housing issues.

Approved $15,000/yr x 3 years October 2020 to be directed to North Philadelphia schools. The World Affairs Council of Philadelphia provides lifelong educational programming in the Greater Philadelphia region to Council members, students, teachers, and the general public.

Approved $25,000/yr x 3 years April 2020 general operating support for YESPhilly's alternative high school to expand creative and expressive arts and workplace connections for students.
