The Patricia Kind Family Foundation (PKFF) is very excited to welcome Lauren Stebbins as its inaugural non-family Executive Director. Lauren brings to PKFF a distinguished career dedicated to addressing economic inequality and inequity. Her areas of expertise include community development, barriers to financial security, and the intersections between community investment, economic mobility, and health and education outcomes. She has worked in a diverse range of roles in mission-driven organizations, cultivating and honing skills in strategy development, investment due diligence, program management, research, and analysis.
Most recently, she served as Program Officer at The Barra Foundation, where she developed strategic priorities for impact investments and managed a portfolio of grants and investments supporting nonprofit organizations and underserved businesses. Her prior experience includes leadership and programmatic roles at Stone Sherick Consulting Group, Opportunity Finance Network, Prosperity Now, and the Aspen Institute. Lauren holds a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from the LBJ School at The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology from Brown University. She currently serves on the boards of the Independence Public Media Foundation and Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia.
