Organization's Mission: The Philadelphia Bail Fund frees our neighbors, friends, and loved ones from jail, while simultaneously working to end wealth-based detention in Philadelphia, the poorest large city in America. This work stems from our belief that pretrial detention is unjust, unnecessary, and inhumane. We are committed to building equitable and transformative justice systems in which everyone feels safe and all communities have the resources they need to thrive.
